Gregory J. Deppong, CPA - 2021

Gregory J. Deppong, CPA, is the Controller at Michigan State University (MSU). As Controller, Greg supports the financial integrity and stewardship of the university by maintaining financial systems, issuing the annual financial statements, and providing for and monitoring internal controls. He has over 30 years of accounting and financial management experience in public accounting and higher education.

Greg currently serves as Chair of the MSUFCU Board of Directors, having served on the Board since 2008. Prior to his board tenure, he served as Chair of the MSUFCU Supervisory Committee. A certified public accountant, Greg has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from MSU and a master's degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University. He currently serves on the board of the Central Association of College and University Business Officers.
