Prevent fraud before it happens

MSUFCU CVVkey™ is an app that was developed in partnership with Keyno Inc., a leader in credit card fraud prevention to bring our members additional Visa Credit Card security options.

This app allows members to securely enroll their Visa Credit Card to receive new and unique CVV2 codes to use while shopping online or over the phone.

Download the MSUFCU CVVkey app from the App Store or Google Play. Enroll your card using your card number, expiration date, and 3-digit CVV number on the back of your card. Once enrolled, choose your individual card image and tap the update icon.

The CVVkey app is not available for Visa Debit Cards at this time.

How does CVVkey™ work?

CVVkey™ sends a unique 3-digit security code to your smartphone to prevent fraudulent transactions from occurring.

When checking out at an online store or over the phone, simply refer to the CVVkey™ app anytime the three-digit security code on the back of your card is requested. The CVVkey™ code will change throughout the day, so if your card number is stolen, future purchases will be denied without your unique code.

Will CVVkey affect my recurring transactions?

No, your recurring transactions will work as expected even if your CVV2 changes periodically. This is because the temporary CVV2 is initially used to verify ownership of the card. Once ownership is verified, the recurring transactions will process via the card number without the need of a CVV2. Click here for Visit the CVVkey website

Is CVVkey available for debit cards?

At this time, CVVKey is not available for debit cards but we are working on making this service available as soon as possible.
