Can I close out my certificate before the maturity date?
Yes, a certificate can be closed before the set maturity date. Please note that once a certificate is opened, it can only be closed by contacting OU Credit Union. There is an early withdrawal penalty associated with closing a certificate before it has matured. The penalty for early withdrawal will depend on the term length of your certificate and the amount being withdrawn. To view the details of your certificate, click the (+) sign to the left of the certificate share within ComputerLine.
